What is Camp 5?
Camp 5 is a Summer Camp for disadvantaged youth in Southern Illinois. Camp 5 is a federally recognized non for-profit organization.
Camp 5 serves children grades 3rd-8th who are living in poverty in southern Illinois. Camp 5 campers are a diverse group of kids from different ethnic, racial, religious, and family backgrounds.
Camp 5 was founded by a group of individuals seeking to serve underprivileged children in the southern Illinois area. Our team is passionate about sharing the love of Christ with the campers.
Who are Camp 5 Campers?
The mission of Camp 5 is to provide a free, safe and fun, faith-based summer camp for children in grades 3rd-8th living in poverty in Southern Illinois. Camp 5 will focus solely on children who are at-risk and give them five fun-filled days of Hope, Love, Patience, Joy and Peace.
